Carnival Tortillas

Ingredients:

1/2 liter of milk, 6 eggs, 3/4 kg of flour, 1/4 kg of sugar, 1 lemon, a cup of rum, Matalahúva, oil and water.

Elaboration:

1.- The eggs are beaten and the flour and sugar are added, then the milk is added and the water is completed very slowly, mixing everything well until it forms a thick paste.

2.- To the paste obtained, add the rum, the lemon zest, the Matalahúva and the oil and stir.

3.- We heat a little oil in a frying pan and with the help of a ladle we are making pancakes with the pasta by frying them on both sides.

4.- Once cold, sprinkle with a little sugar on top

TIP:

They are a typical dessert of carnival time, hence their name, but they are made in the houses at any time of the year: those with a sweet tooth sprinkle them with honey.
