GRAN CANARIA, THE ISLAND OF CHEESE.

This route takes visitors on a journey into the interior of the island to discover the secrets of the cheeses made in that area and how the landscape and the preservation of ancestral traditions (shepherding and transhumance) are reflected in the cheeses.

A route covering six cheeseries in the North of Gran Canaria with some unmissable stops taking in remnants of the past which provide the cheese with its identity.
